Korean lash lift — gentle, natural lift at Azizam beauty salon in Dubai

About Korean lash lift at Azizam

A Korean lash lift is a gentler version of the traditional lash lift, using a different technique and a milder solution formulation that is particularly kind to fine or previously treated lashes. The reshape is softer, the curl reads more natural, and the finish sits closer to your own lash line rather than giving a noticeably rolled-up shape. For women whose lashes have been lifted before and want a more subtle result, or for anyone new to lash work who wants the lightest possible introduction, it is the right choice.

The technique uses a silicone shield chosen specifically to match the length of your natural lashes. Your lashes are combed up onto the shield so the curl happens from the root outward rather than folding the lash back on itself. The solution is then applied in two timed phases, with a longer, gentler development window than a standard lift. The result is a lifted, opened eye that still reads unmistakably natural.

The appointment takes around 50 to 60 minutes. You lie down with your eyes closed from start to finish. Nothing touches the eye itself, only the lashes. The experience is calm and restful. Many clients find the Korean method more comfortable than a standard lift because the solutions are gentler on the skin around the lash line.

Results last between six and eight weeks, softening gradually rather than dropping off. There is almost no aftercare beyond keeping the lashes dry for the first 24 hours. After that, you can swim, use eye makeup, steam, travel anywhere in any climate. The lift is not affected by the daily things that affect extensions.

We pair the Korean lash lift with a tint almost always, because the dual finish reads more polished than either service on its own. A tint adds soft depth from root to tip, which complements the lift beautifully. If you want both, book them as a combination appointment.

Korean lash lift suits women who want the appearance of longer, lifted lashes without the commitment of extensions, and whose natural lashes are fine, damaged from previous treatments, or too short for a dramatic lift. It is also the right choice for clients with sensitive skin around the eye area, because the milder solution profile is kinder overall.

If you have had lash extensions recently, we recommend waiting at least two weeks after removal before booking a Korean lift, so the natural lash has time to recover. If your lashes are very short, we will tell you honestly whether a lift will give you the result you want, or whether a set of extensions would serve you better.

As with every lash service at Azizam, the Korean lash lift is performed exclusively by senior technicians. Send us a clear photograph of your natural lashes over WhatsApp before booking if you are unsure which style suits you, and we will recommend honestly.

Korean lash lift FAQs

How long do lash extensions last?

With a proper refill every two to three weeks, extensions can be worn continuously. Between appointments, you can expect a natural shed rate of a few lashes per day.

Will extensions damage my natural lashes?

Not when applied correctly. The weight and length are matched to each natural lash so nothing is strained. Poor application is what causes damage, and that is exactly what careful work avoids.

Can I wear makeup with lash extensions?

Yes. Avoid oil-based products and heavy mascara directly on the extensions. A light touch of liner close to the lash line is fine.

How long is my first lash appointment?

A full set of classic lashes takes around 90 minutes. Volume or Russian volume sets take two hours or more, depending on the style.

What is the difference between classic, hybrid, volume and Russian volume lashes?

Classic is one extension per natural lash, for a soft, natural finish. Hybrid blends classic and volume for a touch more density. Volume uses handmade fans for a fuller, defined lash line. Russian volume is the most precise and editorial, built with finer, denser fans. Your technician will recommend the style that suits your natural lashes and the look you want.

Can I wear contact lenses with lash extensions?

Yes. Extensions do not interfere with contact lenses. We suggest removing your lenses before the appointment for comfort, and inserting them afterwards once the adhesive has fully cured.

Will lash extensions suit my eye shape?

A good lash artist always designs the set around your eye shape rather than a trend. Almond, round, hooded and monolid eyes each benefit from different length and curl patterns. We will map the set before we begin, and we will say so honestly if a particular style would not flatter you.

What should I do if an extension feels uncomfortable?

Message us. Do not pull at it. If a single extension has bonded to two natural lashes or is sitting at an unusual angle, we can correct it in a few minutes. Never attempt to remove an extension yourself. It almost always takes the natural lash with it.
